Association ChampionShip Minor Events
Doubles and Singles of the 2025 Association Championship began on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Anchor Lanes. Leading doubles is the team of Tom Scharenbrock and Robert Kauger with a score of 1626. They are also leading the doubles scratch division with a score of 1492. Joseph Klopf is leading Singles with a score of 801. Cody Krahn is leading the Singles Scratch division with a 759 series. In All Events Sindey Thao is the current leader with a score of 2262. All Events Scratch is lead by Gus Witte with a score of 2179. Senior Singles is lead by Joe Klopf with a 786 series. Robert Kauger is leading Senior Singles Scratch with a 754 series. Shelly Zitzer is leading Senior All Events with 2227 and Steve Schmit is leading Senior All Events Scratch with 2167. The tournament will conclude on January 26, 2025.
Senior match tournament
Entries are now being accepted for the Senior Match Tournament which will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Elks Lodge in Sheboygan. This tournament is open to both men and women SABA adult members age 50 and older. Bowlers may participate in the scratch or handicap division. Team Event of the 2025 Association Championship concluded on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Odyssey Fun Center. 48 teams participated in team event. There was a tie for first place. Team Globe Lanes and team Lakeshore 1 both had a score of 2932. Globe Lanes team members scratch/handicap scores are: Erik Zukaitis (696/752), John Juhre (695/722), Gus Witte (748/769), Jay Larson (689/689). Lakeshore 1 team members scratch/handicap scores are: Patty Paasch (460/694), Jaime McCoy (604/736), Dave Paasch (727/803), Jason McCoy (675/699).
In the scratch division, team Scott’s Pro Shop 2 had a score of 2831 and narrowly edged out team Globe Lanes by 3 pins who had a score of 2828. Scott’s Pro Shop 2 team members and scores are: Scott Cavanaugh (670), Cody Schmitt (722), Jeff Shircel (703), Steve De Kerf Jr (736).

Hall of fame point totals
In March of 2024, the Sheboygan Area Bowling Association adopted a Hall of Fame point system. Male bowlers need to earn 150 points and women bowlers need to earn 75 points to be eligible for consideration. Points are earned for high scores, tournament accomplishments, all-star teams and high averages. Hall of Fame point totals for SABA men bowlers has been compiled from association records through August 1, 2024. Click here to view the list.
